Are you a people person? Do you feel that you can make a difference in a person’s life? Can you recruit and lead a team responsible for the wellbeing of veterans and delivering the best provision of services across your Borough Council Area? If so come and join us at

Many veterans of the Armed forces, Police, fire service and NHS experience isolation, loneliness for a number of reasons. We aim to reduce this by providing opportunities to engage in a variety of social activities, build relationships or engage in one to one. Full training is given.

Previous experience is preferred, though if you can really make a difference; not essential or required. It is preferable to have good knowledge of the Services, as you will be required to aid other veterans and deal with veteran volunteer recruitment.

If you feel that you can make a difference in a positive way, we look forward to receiving your application.

Please note: This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all applicants. This will include an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring service. We will cover the cost for the right candidate.
